School Council and Parents Association Meeting: Our monthly online meeting is this Tuesday, April 22nd at 6:30 p.m. Topics will include School Leadership update, proposed 2025/26 residency, May’s Parent’s Speaker night, update on open elected and appointed positions within the SC/PA and Teacher Presentation. April 22- 25 is Support Staff Appreciation week: Please take a moment to thank and acknowledge our amazing administrative staff, fantastic lunchroom supervisors, education assistants and library support staff who help your student(s) daily! Stay tuned for upcoming appreciation opportunities for other members of our CJP team; Principal, Bus Driver and Teacher Appreciation events all take place in early May.  

Parent's Speaker Night! The CJP SC/PA are hosting Connie Jakab on May 21, 2025! This engaging evening will focus on supporting our children and understanding the complexities of bullying. Fun Lunch: Thank you to our amazing volunteers who delivered 338 FatBurger Fun Lunches this week, including 8 donated lunches! Did you know? Extra proceeds from our lunch and snack donations help provide fresh apples in the office for CJP students who need a little extra fuel during the day. Thank you for your support! Subway is the next Fun Lunch on Wed, May 7th.

SC/PA update: Toria and Don have recently stepped back from their roles with the SC/PA. We’re incredibly grateful for the time, energy, and heart they’ve poured into our school community. Together their dedicated support for MAPSS, organizing volunteer opportunities and DJ’ing at our events have all been so impactful to us all. We’ll miss their active involvement, enthusiasm and dedication and would like to wish them all the very best in what comes next.
