Fun Lunch: Our first Fun Lunch of the year is on Wednesday, September 18 with IHOP! All students who stay at CJP for lunch are welcome to participate (Grades 1-6 & Kindergarten Enhancement students). Be sure to register and order before the deadline on Friday, September 13:
- Visit www.HealthyHunger.ca to either log in or create a new parent account;
- Add your student(s) to your account: School: Captain John Palliser, Grade: "teacher's last name" or "Kindergarten Enhancement";
- Order and pay online
The Parents Association sponsors lunches for families who may not otherwise be able to participate. If you are able, please consider sponsoring a lunch or snack for families who may not otherwise be able to participate! Note that if there is a surplus of funds, this will be used to support families in need or to supply food for the office to provide to students as required. Connect with Ms. El if your family would benefit from this.

Back to School Meet & Greet
Grab your morning coffee/tea from us Friday, Sept 13 at drop off by the playground. Please bring your reusable cup or thermos and let's enjoy some warm drinks together while getting to know each other better.
Mural: We are inviting local artists to submit proposals to create original artwork for outdoor murals on the front of the school. You can view the Request for Proposals at this link. Please share with any local artists who may be interested. If you have any questions please reach out to Lindsay at cjp.playground@gmail.com.
Casino Fundraiser: Mark your calendars for our casino fundraiser on Oct 1 & 2, 2024! This event could raise $50K - $70K for school programs, school residencies, field trip transportation and so much more! Spread the word and invite friends and family to join. Ongoing Fundraisers: We have some great ongoing fundraisers to help us reach our goals!
- Benevity: Some employers use this program, which may allow you to earn money for volunteering or match your donations.
- Mabel’s Labels: Buy name tags through our link to help support students.
- Skip the Depot: They pick up your bottles, and you can donate the refund online.
- FlipGive: Shop online through our group code and a percentage is donated back to CJP PA.
