Welcome back to our returning families, and a warm welcome to those joining CJP for the first time! It’s been a fantastic start-up. Students and staff have settled into classrooms with energy and enthusiasm, establishing routines and diving right into learning. The buzz around the building is one of curiosity, connection, and excitement for the year ahead. We’re especially excited for the opportunities this year will bring: new learning, growing relationships, and the chance to see our students thrive. In the office, we’ve been busy navigating the daily shifts that come with enrolment changes, which is a typical part of the first few weeks of school. We truly appreciate families’ patience and understanding as things settle.

School Council and Parents Association Online Meetings: Did you know SC & PA meet online (almost) every month? These meetings are a great way to learn about upcoming activities and initiatives, and to hear directly from school leadership about what’s happening at CJP. Our first meeting of the year is Tuesday, September 23 at 6:30 pm. The link will be shared in the weekly message. We hope you’ll join us!
CJP Spirit Wear Swap: If you have any CJP items your family has outgrown or no longer needs please donate them to our CJP Second hand Swap. These items are offered to new owners by donation. There is a large Rubbermaid bin located by the front office of the school.
CJP Meet the Teacher Night: We are pleased to welcome The Spud Mobeel, The Burrito Mexican Food, Viet 2 Go & Grill to the CJP Meet the Teacher Night. The trucks will be in front of the school on September 18 from 4:30pm-7:30pm. Stop by the CJP Parents Association table to say Hi and catch up! Don’t forget to check out our 2nd annual Spirit Wear Swap! Peruse our gently used second hand Spirit Wear items. We welcome donations to CJP PA in lieu of payment.
Ongoing Fundraisers: We have some great ongoing fundraisers to help us reach our goals!

- Mabel’s Labels: Buy name tags through our link to help support students.
- Skip the Depot: They pick up your bottles, and you can donate the refund online.
- FlipGive: Shop online through our group code and a percentage is donated back to CJP PA.
