To the CJP Community
It’s been another exciting and busy week at CJP as we count down to spring break!
Our PE program hosted an engaging lacrosse residency with Tyler from ELEV8 Lacrosse, who worked with students all week on fundamental skills such as cradling, passing, catching, scooping, shooting, dodging, communication, and teamwork. This hands-on experience helped students build coordination, confidence, and a deeper understanding of the game.
Meanwhile, our Grade 1/2 students welcomed Teacher’s Pet Educational Services for an in-school program focused on the scientific concept of energy, specifically light and sound. Through interactive activities, students explored where light and sound come from and how they travel.
Our Grade 3/4 classes had an exciting off-site field trip to the Bow Habitat Station & Sam Livingston Fish Hatchery, where they participated in an immersive, hands-on learning experience about fish, watersheds, wetlands, and aquatic ecosystems.
A huge thank you to the CJP School Council & Parent Association for covering the cost of bussing for this field trip—your ongoing support is truly appreciated!
Parent-Teacher Online Conferences | March 20 & March 21

Please follow this link to MyCBE to book or manage your booking.
As we transition our parent-teacher conferences to an online format, we remain committed to incorporating key elements of the student-led discussions that were originally planned. While the structure may look a little different, we encourage students to take an active role by sharing reflections on their learning, achievements, and goals during the virtual meetings. Teachers will also facilitate opportunities for students to showcase their progress, ensuring their voices remain at the heart of these important conversations. We appreciate your flexibility and look forward to meaningful discussions that celebrate student growth.
Updates regarding current labour action can be found on the CBE web page.
