To the CJP Community,
As we progress into the second learning semester, I wanted to remind everyone to take a moment to review your child’s report card if you haven’t already. This is a great opportunity to celebrate the progress your child has made and to discuss where additional support may be needed. If you have any questions or would like to discuss your child’s report further, please don’t hesitate to reach out to their teacher or our school office.
A huge thank you to all who attended the Snowflake Dance last night, organized by our incredible School Council. It was a fantastic evening of fun, and we truly appreciate your continued support in making events like these such a success.
As the weather begins to get colder again into next week, please remember to prepare your child for the winter weather. Be sure they are dressed warmly and have all the necessary gear for the chilly days ahead.

Staff Appreciation: Help spread the love this Feb 12. As a Valentine’s Day treat we are looking to provide some baked goodies to our wonderful CJP team.
Binder Time: Volunteers Needed! We’re looking for parent/guardian volunteers to provide one-on-one support to students in Grades 1/2 & 2/3, helping with letter sounds and blending. Volunteers commit to a 6-week rotation from February 4 – March 13. Available Shifts: Tuesdays and Thursdays (AM) – choose one or two 2-hour shifts per week. If you're interested in supporting our students and helping them build essential literacy skills, we’d love to have you join the team!

Fun Lunch/Snack: Fun Lunch returns Wednesday, Feb 19 with Panago Pizza. Fun Snack is scheduled for Wednesday, Feb. 12 with Maverick’s Donut Company.
Snowflake Dance: It was great to get together as a community this week for the Snowflake Dance. We hope everyone had a great time! Shout out to DJ Havoc and the dance committee for putting this incredible event together.
CJP Book Swap: Thanks to all the families who donated books to the CJP Book Swap. Students will get their chance to pick out a “new to them” book on Wednesday, February 5.
CJP Read-a-thon Fundraiser: We will be raising money by reading February 6-27. Watch for details to come home with your student about the CJP Read-a-thon next week ahead of the February 6 start. Stay tuned to @cjpparents on Facebook and Instagram throughout the month for updates and a sneak peek at the prizes your student could win!
