To the CJP Community
A big thank you to all the students, staff, and parent volunteers who helped plan, organize, and facilitate another incredibly successful CJP Book Swap event this past Wednesday. Thanks to everyone’s efforts, all students had the opportunity to spend time in the gym, browsing through tables full of books, eagerly searching for a new, exciting read. The event was not only a fantastic way to encourage reading and literacy but also created a wonderful sense of community as students shared the joy of discovering new stories.
Your contributions made the event a tremendous success, and we look forward to hosting many more in the future! Thank you again for your dedication and support in making this event such a memorable experience for all
Looking at the forecast for next week, it seems the colder weather will continue, though not as extreme as this past week. Temperatures will be mild enough that students will be able to enjoy outdoor recess and lunch breaks, so we kindly ask families to ensure their child is dressed appropriately for the winter conditions. Please make sure they are bundled up in warm layers and have all the necessary gear, such as hats, gloves, and scarves, to stay comfortable during their time outside. Thank you for your help in keeping our students warm and ready for learning.
A friendly reminder to all families about the importance of being mindful and considerate when picking up your children from school. To help keep things running smoothly and safely, we kindly ask that families:
- Avoid blocking driveways and alleyways on Northmount Drive, Batchelor Crescent, and the alley adjacent to the school playground.
- Keep crosswalks clear to ensure pedestrian safety.
- Be aware that winter weather can affect bus schedules, meaning bus zones may be occupied for longer periods than usual.
Thank you for your cooperation in making our school zone and neighborhood a safer, more welcoming place for everyone. We deeply appreciate your continued support.
