Thank you so much to the families who were able to come out for conferences! We are always delighted to meet with you and discuss your child’s progress. Thank you also to all of the families that supported the incredible Teacher Appreciation dinner (and Friday lunch because there was so much!!). Our teachers truly felt cared for, and it is such an awesome treat to not have to think about what to eat during conferences. Both conferences and the dinner really support how much we, parents and staff, are a team in your child’s success!
We are collecting donations of non-perishable food items and/or grocery gift cards (any denomination) to support some of our families in need. If you are interested please send it “Ms. El’s office” through your child. We will be collecting until Dec 6. Thank you in advance for helping to support our larger community.
Please help us keep your children safe by obeying all traffic rules outside of our school, especially with the slippery roads. Please also use the patrolled crosswalk – cutting through cars and busses is very dangerous and we want to make sure you all get to where you want to be safely! Thank you for your help with this.
Any volunteers that applied in September/October seem to have had a glitch in the voucher system. If this applies to you please come to our office and we can reset it for you.

Staff Appreciation: Thank you to the over 30 families who contributed to acknowledging our amazing staff with the Soup and Sandwich potluck on Thursday. Families contributed to recognizing their efforts by cooking delicious dishes, buying ingredients for an epic sandwich bar and donating funds used to purchase things such as compostable utensils (so no one has to clean up after a long day). We are so grateful to our CJP staff for supporting our learners and know you are too! Stay tuned throughout the year for other opportunities to thank them for all they do.
