Binder Time: We need your help with the Binder Time! This initiative directly supports early literacy with some of our Grade 1/2 & 2/3 students. Volunteer shifts are available on either Tuesdays or Thursdays between now and May 6th. These one-on-one sessions assist students with letter sounds and blending, no experience necessary. Sign up today to make a lasting impact.

Work Bee: The monthly Work Bee is next week on April 9th! If you have any spare time we have morning and afternoon shifts to be filled. These working get-togethers help the CJP teachers and staff. Sign up here

SC/PA Open Positions: Are you looking for a way to be more involved? We have various opportunities available now. Your involvement makes a big difference for our students and for the school. Check the openings here or reach out to connect@cjppa.ca to inquire about how you can contribute.

Fun Lunch: Fun Lunch is coming up on Wednesday, April 16. This month’s vendor is FatBurger. The deadline to order will be Friday, April 11.

Pedalheads: We are excited to have partnered with Pedalheads. If you use code CPTJOHN25 when you register for any Pedalheads bike program in Alberta until June 30, 2025, you will receive $25 off the program. Each time the code is used, the CJP Parents Association also receives $25! Registration is open on the Pedalheads website

ASCA (Alberta School Councils Association) Resolutions: Our school council has the opportunity to vote on important education resolutions at the ASCA AGM, and your feedback will help guide our decisions. These resolutions influence provincial education policies that directly impact our students. Have your say here. The full details of the proposed policies are available here
