To the CJP Community,
A heartfelt thank you to all of our families who joined us for Meet the Teacher Night yesterday. We know evenings are busy, and we deeply appreciate you taking the time to come connect with your child’s teacher. These early opportunities to build relationships and open lines of communication make such a difference in setting our students up for success. A special thank you as well to our School Council / Parent Association for organizing the wonderful food truck lineup. It was a great way to bring families together and add to the welcoming atmosphere of the evening.
I would also like to thank our students and families for their incredible participation in our annual Terry Fox Run this past Wednesday. This event is always a highlight of September, as it brings our community together around a cause that is bigger than ourselves. Parents and caregivers cheering from the sidelines, students running with determination, and our staff joining in all made for a special day of community and purpose. I am proud to share that, thanks to your generosity, we have already raised $1,845.04, surpassing our goal of $1,500. The funds will go toward cancer research, continuing Terry’s legacy of courage and hope.
Thank you for your continued support in making CJP a place where connection, compassion, and community thrive.

School Council and Parents Association Meeting: Get the inside scoop from School Leadership, Teachers, School Council, and the Parents Association. World Teacher Appreciation Day: Join us in celebrating and acknowledging all that our teachers do for our learners by contributing to a potluck breakfast for teachers on October 3. This is a great opportunity to show your love and support for our amazing staff. Start thinking of an amazing breakfast treat you could share and watch for the upcoming link to sign up to bring items.
CJP Spirit Wear: Start the new school year off BRIGHT with CJP Spirit Wear. New items are launching September 26. Watch our social media this coming week for sneak peeks and look for the website link in next Friday's newsletter.
CJP Meet the Teacher Night: A big thank you to everyone who visited our greeting table and joined in the Spirit Wear Swap! If your children have outgrown more items over the school year, you can keep bringing them in and leaving them in the bin by the office.
