On Saturday May 25th five students from CJP participated in the Science Olympics hosted by APEGA at the Olympic Oval. This event brought students together from all over Calgary, ranging from grades 1-12, to compete in STEM challenges. For the last few months the team has been working tirelessly on their prototype of a raccoon proof garbage can following the engineering design process as their guide. During the event they also participated in two surprise engineering challenges where they showed tremendous collaboration and ingenuity. Our team of five grade 6 students won Bronze! We are so proud of them! Great work!
