Dear CJP Families,

Dear CJP Families,

We are almost at the end of October – the times flies so fast! This week the final groups entered into their Robotics residency: Ms. Friesen’s and Ms. Anderson’s Kindergarten classes, Ms. Monteith’s and Ms. Harvey’s 3/4 classes and Ms. Pretty’s 5/6 class. The learning has truly been incredible, and we will be showcasing student Robotics learning during our student learning conferences on Nov. 28 and 29, 2024. Again, a HUGE thank you to both our Parent Association and TC Energy for funding the robots and this residency! We also appreciate all of the parents who have volunteered to help this go smoothly.

Next week:

  • Picture retakes on Tuesday, Oct 29/24

Winter Hamper Support for Families:

As we enter the beginning of the holiday season we are aware that there can be additional pressures put on families. I am currently compiling a list of families who feel they would benefit from a winter hamper, delivered mid December.  If you feel this could be of assistance please contact me at jaelguebaly@cbe.ab.ca by Thursday Oct 31/24.  Thank you.

Are you interested in a weekly connection with students?

We are looking for volunteers who are willing to make a weekly commitment of an hour a week to support student learning, primarily through building a positive connection with our students. Seeing the same students (3 per hour) for 6-8 weeks at a time has such a positive impact on our kids! If you are interested in something like this please contact me at jaelguebaly@cbe.ab.ca
