Dear CJP Families,
We have ended this week with lots of celebration happening around the school. A big celebration for us is welcoming Mr. White into our building while Mr. Fisher is away – thank you for all of your help and expertise this week. Another is the successful closure of our Robotics residency – please ask your child what they learned and what they want to try next in Robotics!
Spirit wear orders were delivered today – please check with your child that you received it. We would like to hold a “Wednesday Wear” day this coming Wednesday, Nov. 6th where staff and students are welcome to wear their CJP spirit wear or any of the colors of the playground – blue, purple and orange.
We understand that sometimes issues arise for your child where you would like to speak to their teacher as soon as possible. We ask that you send an email with your concern so that they can arrange a time to speak to you. Please do not come into the building without checking in at the office first; this allows us to maintain safety knowing all the adults in the building, and, we might be able to help you. Mr. White and I are always willing to chat with you when you need.
Important dates:
Nov. 7 – Indigenous Veterans Day and Remembrance Day Assembly (please note: this is for students/staff only due to fire code)
Nov 4-7 - We are accepting non perishable food donations to the Veterans Food Bank all next week. Donations can be brought to the office.
Nov. 8 – No school for students – Staff participating in CBE system Maatoomsii'Pookaiks (Children First) day of professional learning.
